What People are saying about Casa Spanglish

January 2013

We stayed at Casa Spanglish with two other couples in January of 2013. The layout is very good for a group as each casita is a self contained space with living area, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Recently renovated, the casitas are lovely and comfortable, with all modern conveniences. We used the kitchen of Casita Erika as the main kitchen for all six of us, buying groceries and snacks from the nearby Chedraui grocery store. We really enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings (before and after exploring the island, going to the beach, and taking a day trip to Chichen Itza) around the pool, relaxing, making cocktails, and taking a dip. We used the barbecue several times as well. The location of the house was ideal, easy to find and conveniently located in a neighborhood that is a short golf cart ride from the north end or the south end of the island. There are great restaurants in the neighborhood (Mango Café and Monchi’s being the standouts) and we were pleasantly surprised to find a vet’s office two doors north of Casa Spanglish. We would stop by and pet the island cats who are well cared for by the vet and made a donation before we left. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Casa Spanglish and would stay there again in the future"

December 2012

We enjoyed staying at the Casa Spanglish so much.  It is clean, comfortable and has all the accommodations needed.  It is close to all the action in town or the beach. There is a market on one corner within walking distance and a lady selling fresh vegetables and avocados on another corner. We would buy our own goodies to make up our own salsa and guacamole to snack on. Across the road we met one of the locals cooking a chicken out on their barbecue with fresh beans, rice and tortillas that we would bring home for lunch.  There are all kinds of wonderful restaurants to eat at that you can either walk to or take a golf cart to.  At the casa if you want complete privacy you can close the gate or you can open the gate and see all the action going on.  We would go up stairs and sit looking over the balcony and go see all the way up and down the road. It was a fantastic vacation.

December 2012

My husband Jerry & I recently had the opportunity to spend 10 days at Casa Spanglish. What a great place to stay with friends and family. The  private court yard and pool was a great way to get away from it all.  We stayed in Casa Betty, a one bedroom apartment, it had everything we needed to prepare light meals to pina coladas. The  King size bed was very comfortable. We can't wait to comeback and stay longer next time.
